Happy St Nicholas’ Day!

The real St Nicholas was a great theologian and famously punched the heretic Arian at the Council of Nicea – he was (once they let him back in – as he was excommunicated for a while) one of the signatories to the Nicene Creed which is still read in churches today.

A different side to the jolly old Saint!
