With a colleague this week I had time to nip into Exeter Cathedral at lunchtime. We got to see some artwork by Iain McKillop – both Stations of the Cross and Resurrection paintings.
His paintings are very visceral and challenging and not quite in a style I like but which portrayed the agony of Christ’s Passion very powerfully. However, it was his paintings of the resurrection which I really loved. One of which is shown above.
More of his work can be viewed on his website. Worth popping in if you’re in the area!
