There has been a lot in the news about luxury advent calendars. My friend Miranda has written eloquently about this here. In a funny way, a luxury advent calendar is deeply ironic in a season that is about expectant waiting. Still, Advent is a season to pay attention to your soul, to consider how ready you are to welcome Christ into your life, into your home. So for a bit of fun, and hopefully to feed your soul, I’m going to post something different each day this Advent – a little luxury item to help you prepare spiritually for the great feast of Christmas.
