I am currently writing a book for DLT on the portrayal of Christians on television. In the course of my research, I discovered some very interesting things about the Vicar of Dibley. I gave this talk at St John’s College to fellow students, it gave me a chance to read an extract from my book and discuss with fellow ordinands (people training for the priesthood) the impact of the Vicar of Dibley on the public perception of women’s ministry.
