This time last year my friend Richard Littledale put out a tweet about a story he’d written for children wondering if anyone would like to help him turn it into a book. In a ridiculously short space of time Richard had the book ready and published in time for me to buy the book for my God-daughters for Christmas!
This extraordinary online collaborative effort also came alongside one of my own. Last year I ran what was perhaps the world’s first online 9 lessons and carols service. It was wonderful to be able to plug the sales of the Littlest Star as part of the service’s ‘collection’. The book is still available to buy and is a wonderful present for small children – both the recipients of the book and those who are cared for by Shooting Star Children’s Hospice to which all profits are being donated.
You can read the full story of how this book was put together on Richard’s blog here.
