Ever since I lived in Estonia for a year (1999-2000) I have had a real soft spot for Eurovision. It’s a big thing for the smaller European nations – one of their few opportunities to put themselves on the map. This year’s entry is looking very strong and ‘vahva’ (Estonian for cool) and I really hope they win!

Getter Jaani seems to be like a cross between Cheryl Cole and Rebecca Black! Apparently she was the youngest winner of the Estonian equivalent of Pop Idol.
