I was in Estonia and my then boyfriend (now husband) was both in the UK and then for 3 months in Lesotho. I think it was a very important time in our relationship. As a friend once said to me ‘all relationships should have a correspondence period’!

We did have email but didn’t use it much and that was no use when Baz was in Lesotho as his hospital there could only be contacted by a radio. It feels like another age but it was just 10 years ago!
