I sometimes think I was lucky to go to school in the 80s, we had such fun at primary school in the days before the national curriculum. This is a project we did about the Tudors based on the re-enactment centre, Kentwell Hall in Long Melford, Suffolk.

This had a huge impact on me and I went on to create a tudor character as an adult and ran living history sessions in primary schools.

I’m quite impressed with the quality of the stitching on the front of this which I did all by myself!
