This is my old tape holder, from the age when you only owned a few tapes, the majority of which were songs taped off Bruno Brookes’ chart show. We used to get our blank C90 tapes from the Esso garage using my dad’s petrol tokens. Note the sellotaped on New Kids On The Block picture – probably cut out of Smash Hits!

New Kids on the Block – Bryony, you’re way too cool to listen to them, surely! Def Leppard, REM and Ugly Kid Joe are a good call though. In fact I still listen to all of them occasionally
