Meditation on change

Over a year ago at church we had a service on the theme of ‘becoming’ the people God wants us to be. As part of the service I did a meditation and I thought I would share it here.

First you will need to set aside at least 10 minutes – more is better. You can do this meditation in a small group or on your own.

Spend some time in quiet. Think about the changes happening in your life. Think about the good parts of that change. Think about the things that are difficult about that change.

Ask God to speak to you.

As you watch this short film (just over 5 mins) reflect on what is happening on screen and how it might pertain to your situation. Open your heart and mind to what God might say to you.

What can you take from this as an encouragement as you go through a time of change?

You might want to close with a time of prayer.
